DVT/PE - deep venous thrombosis/pulmonary embolism
EBL - estimated blood loss
EGD - esophagogastroduodenoscopy
ET - endotracheal
HIDA - hydroxyiminodiacetic acid
I&D - incision and drainage
IJ - internal jugular
IM - intramuscular
ITP - idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura
IV - intravenous
