Spritz

1 lb butter
1 egg
2 cups sugar
4 1/2 cups flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. salt

- Cream butter and sugar.
- Sift dry ingredients.
- Beat egg into butter mixture, add vanilla and work in flour.
- Force dough through cookie press.
