Dumping Syndrome:
This is a phenomenon that occurs in those who have had the Roux-en-Y procedure because the duodenum and pyloric valve are removed and replaced by an artificial connection to the small instestine. When sweets are consumed (or any food too rapidly) this causes the rapid "dumping" of food out of the stomach and into the small intestine, creating discomfort.

The discomfort includes sweating, dizziness, weakness, vomiting, diarhea and more.
